Competition Requirements and Regulations

The Revised 2014 Fair and Rodeo Competition Requirements and Regulationsis ready for use. This book will be your source for all requirements and regulations to enter your specific event, 4-H class, FFA class, or open class. The best way to view this book is through Internet Explorer.  The document is saved as an adobe file and you can navigate easily by using the preset bookmarks. Once you open the File, you can find the bookmarks icon on the left side of your screen. The icon looks like a folded ribbon. Once you have opened the bookmarks you can click on your appropriate tab and you will be navigated to that page. You are still required to read through the “GENERAL Requirements and Regulations (for ALL Exhibitors)” as well as “Junior Division or Open Division Requirements and Regulations”.

For an example:  If you are a Junior Division Beef showman, you will need to read and understand the following sections of the Competition Requirements & Regulations:

  • General Requirements and Regulations (for ALL Exhibitors)
  • Junior Division General Requirements and Regulations
  • Junior Livestock Division
  • Beef

If you are an Open Division Fine Art exhibitor, you will need to read and understand the following sections of the Competition Requirements & Regulations:

  • General Requirements and Regulations (for ALL Exhibitors)
  • Open Division General Requirements
  • Department C: Fine Arts

New this year, we have separated the requirements and regulations into smaller more manageable files.  You can simply click on the appropriate file to find the specific information that you are looking for.

If you have followed these steps and you are still unable to find the exhibitor information, please call the Fairgrounds Office: 720.733.6909 or the Extension Office: 720.733.6940 for further assistance.
