The Douglas County Fair & Rodeo is a longtime tradition that holds a special place in the hearts of Douglas County residents. This highly attended event has been a showcase for the skills and talents of many for generations. Complete with PRCA rodeos, 4-H, FFA and Open Class exhibitors, Jr. Livestock Sale, carnival, entertainment and much more, this is a fun gathering for young and old. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt philanthropic organization, the Douglas County Fair Foundation provides the financial support platform and:
- Is responsible for receiving and administering the charitable donations to support the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo
- Awards the Foundation funds through an all volunteer Board of Directors
- Assists in implementing a positive learning environment for Douglas County youth
- Promotes sportsmanship, showmanship and workmanship
